You know I’m in my cave writing the new book ‘GROUND ZERO‘, well if you didn’t I just let the cat out of the bag. LOL!
I’ve found numerous places to allow my creativity to run wild! For example, I’ve penned several poems in the driver seat of my car, gotten inspiration from couples at Panera Bread, and even created a classic short poem at my office in Raleigh.
My question to you:
What helps you tap into your creativity?
I am not very creative so it takes a lot to get me going. I use to write poetry in h.s. But I stopped, I maybe shud get back to writing.I find it hard to get words on a page, but when it comes to planning youth events for my students I find that my creaivity comes out.
I am most creative when I am experiencing a feeling at the extreme, such as love, anger, excitement, fear, etc. I have moments when I am numb, indifferent, or apathetic; this is when I find myself in the midst of an intellectual drought. Passion fuels my creativity.
Oh…and Barnes and Noble! Lol…I don’t know why…lol
Well…I love to dance and put together skits. So when Im reading or listening to music God begins to lay out a dance piece to a song or when im reading He lays out a short skit to a long story. I love when it happens, soooo normally when im reading or listening to music
Some of my greatest ideas or thoughts comes from sitting down by myself at a park or the mall and just observe my surroundings.
